Join Lisa for the Celebrating Womenhood Workshop on July 22nd from 8am to 10am Thai time.
This workshop is for moms/aunties/grandmas/teachers/etc. who want some guidance in how to talk to the young women (and boys) in their lives about menstruation.
Sadly, this rite of passage is overlooked in our culture and this leads to all kinds of issues later on. Menarche is the "set up" to other transitions in our lives; fertility, pregnancy, birth and menopause. It is so important that we have a positive experience as we enter our menstruating years. I am continually shocked that half the women I meet in practice or in my workshops are not told about their periods and this leads to shame, fear, and a lack of understanding about their amazing bodies.
